Plan of Salvation
God's Simple Path of Salvation
God’s love for you is so great that He offers you the gift of eternal life in heaven with Him. It’s not complicated, but it requires a choice. Will you accept His offer?
1. Recognize Your Need for a Savior
We have all fallen short of God’s perfect standard. The Bible says in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” None of us are perfect; every one of us has sinned. Yet God loves you deeply and desires to bring you into His family.
2. Understand the Consequences of Your Sin
Sin separates us from a holy God. Romans 6:23 declares, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Sin results in both physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God and His love. But here’s the good news: God offers eternal life through His Son, Jesus Christ. This life is a free and undeserved gift! Ephesians 2:8–9 reminds us, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
3. Jesus Paid the Price for all Your Sins
God’s love is so great that He made a way for every sin to be completely forgiven. Romans 5:8 tells us, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Jesus took your place, bearing the punishment for all your sins on the cross. His death and resurrection make it possible for you to be forgiven and restored in fellowship with God.
4. Trust Jesus Today and Be Eternally Saved
God calls you to turn from your sins and put your full faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Acts 3:19 says, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.” Without faith, it is impossible to please God, but when you repent and believe, He forgives your sins and gives you the gift of salvation. Through true conversion, you will begin a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that lasts forever. And one day, you too will be with God in heaven!
Will you receive this amazing gift from God?
Today, will you receive this amazing gift of salvation? The Bible promises in Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Don’t wait another moment. Call upon Jesus today and begin a new life in Christ, filled with His hope, peace, and everlasting joy!
